The workshop rhythm in Paarden Eiland
Our shop and production space in Paarden Eiland keeps menu work close to the people who use it. That matters when a café needs a different insert size, a bar wants window mounting, or a takeaway counter wants a frame that opens without fuss.
- Aluminium snap frames in A4 and A3 sizes
- Wall, window and counter facing layouts
- A-frame menu stands for indoor and pavement use
- Print-ready templates and short-run menu work
The team works across Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Johannesburg, Durban and Gqeberha, with courier packaging done for the trip as well. The process stays practical, with the person handling the job knowing where the print will sit and how it will be changed later.
Marius Mlambo keeps the whole picture steady
Marius Mlambo, our Managing Director, watches the way a job moves from first layout to final delivery. He keeps an eye on frame sizes, print fit and how the finished board will work in a live restaurant or café, where space is tight and timing matters.
He also keeps the team aligned on what a customer needs for daily menu changes, specials boards or a front window display. Marius prefers clear decisions and sensible hardware, not overcomplicated parts that slow the job down.
- Checks final menu size against the frame opening
- Balances print finish with the site lighting
- Oversees larger orders and courier packing notes
Anele Zondo handles the production floor
Anele Zondo, our Production Manager, works with the frames, prints and finishing details that make the job hold together. She is the person checking that laminated menu prints sit straight, that inserts line up, and that each board leaves the floor looking clean.
Her side of the work suits busy food service settings where menus are changed often and the hardware needs to stay neat after many openings. A small error in trimming or alignment shows fast, so her eye for detail keeps things practical.
Anele also keeps an eye on menu resizing when a customer has artwork that must move from A4 to A3 or into a different frame format. That part needs patience, because one millimetre off can make a board look rushed.
Bianca Ebrahim handles the customer side
Bianca Ebrahim, our Sales Consultant, speaks to the details that matter before a job is cut or printed. She helps sort out what size suits the counter, what finish suits the space, and whether a wall frame or A-frame stand will work better for the site.
She spends time on menu updates, colour matching and proofing, which helps when a restaurant wants a clean presentation across several branches. The work can be straightforward or a bit fiddly, and Bianca keeps the brief grounded in the actual menu and not in guesswork.
- Guides A4 and A3 menu template choices
- Checks whether inserts need laminated protection
- Helps line up print finishing with the display style
Thabo Kajee deals with fitting and placement
Thabo Kajee, our Installations Lead, handles the practical side of placing frames where people will see them and use them. Wall mounting, window mounting and stand placement each need a different approach, especially in busy spaces with narrow walkways or glass fronts.
He knows how to set a frame so the menu opens cleanly and sits level, even when the wall is not perfect. That hands-on work saves time later because a menu board that is mounted well does not become a problem at service time.
Thabo also understands takeaway counters and front-of-house spots where staff need to swap inserts without slowing the queue. His job is part fitting, part common sense and part making sure the frame does not get in the way.
Liam Mkhabela and Zanele Wessels keep the paper trail neat
Liam Mkhabela, our Print Coordinator, keeps the sizes, inserts and finishing notes in order. He works closely with menu printing, laminated sheets, poster inserts and the final packing sequence, so each order lands in the right format for the frame it is meant for.
Zanele Wessels, our Customer Support person, keeps the contact side calm and organised. She helps make sure the details on our contact form are read properly and passed to the right person in the team, which saves confusion when a job has more than one branch or location.
- Liam tracks print size, trim and insert fit
- Zanele keeps order details neat and readable
- Together they help with courier packaging notes and branch delivery needs
The two of them keep the smaller details from slipping, which matters when menus are being sent to Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Johannesburg, Durban or Gqeberha and need to arrive ready for use.
How the full team works on a real menu job
One person checks size, another looks at print, another checks fit, and another makes sure the final item is packed properly. That is how a snap frame, menu board or A-frame stand moves through the shop without confusion.
Our team works on menu templates, resizing, typesetting, proofing, short run printing, laminated menu prints, poster insert printing, menu updates, colour matching, print finishing and courier packaging. The names may differ, but the goal stays the same: a menu board that is easy to change and ready for daily use.
When a customer gets in touch through our contact form, the job lands with the right person, not a loose pile of notes. That keeps the work tidy from first measurement to final handover, and it suits the pace of restaurants, cafés and takeaway counters well.
